My name is Jacob Josssart. I am now a senior at Sam Marin in the STEM program. I am 17 years old and live in Novato, California. I have four siblings, two cats, and one dog. I am in the leading class of STEM students at San Marin. Being the first to experience all these new STEM projects and programs has presented me with the opportunity to help improve the program. I like to give advise to teachers on how certain projects can be improved for the following STEM classes. I plan to go to college, specifically for a physics based field. I am very interested in the fundamental principles of our universe. I have done and internship the the Buck Institute for Research on Aging here in Novato. I had a great time working with all the equipment and the opportunity really helped me realize how much I don't know. While it was quite the challenge, it was definitely worth it when I came out with loads of new knowledge and skill. I am looking forward to finishing out my senior year, which will be loaded with AP Computer Science, AP Calculus, AP Chemistry, and more non-STEM AP's. I am really excited to learn the material in also these courses, but I want to move onto college since I have been in high school for a while now. I am especially excited to be able to focus more specifically on the subjects I take interest in once I get to college.
